Maybe the idea was not to kill everyone like in lal masjid? maybe they were going safe as they had no idea how many hostages were there and the terrorists were not talking? it wasn't like 10 ppl vs 1000, it was a hidden war. but again, i agree i'd like to see fast results when it comes to terrorists and their shameless supporters like zaid hamid.

Samjhauta blasts? first of all the investigation has not yet conlcuded that purohit was involved. however its perfectly possible that indias allegation may be wrong in one case. however, why blame india when pakistan has been openly dishonest abt this whole business of 'non state actors'?

Bharat Verma did well to corner that joker of Zaid Hamid, who appeared to be running all around the ring to avoid blows.
Bharat should have been more refined in placing the Bangla desh case. India did not cross the East Pakistan borders ONLY because the women were raped by the beasts of the Paki Army. India had a massive influx of East Pakistani refugees who could not have been turned away, and that influx was taxing our economy. US was then the Godfather of Pakistan and turned the deaf ears to Indian concern. Also, what moral authority was left for Pakistan to rule East Pakistan when their army itself indulged in this heinous crime against their own people?

I think u should make a list of what u dont agree of Zaid's statement rather than hiding behind your alibi.
Patrolling of the coast is done by the coast guards and not the Indian Navy. Also, 4000 odd trawlers and boats are around and it may be possible to comb the entire region without harrassing the fishermen folk should be possible only in Pakistan. We are a democratic country in true sense of the term. We can not operate the lal masjid way.
Thanks for posting the link for Bharat verma's interview. Indeed a good post. I liked the way Bharat Verma's 'NO Nonsense' attitude. I want to see the remaining part of the interview too. Bharat Verma was upright in saying that he did not agree with the Prime Minister. Compare his attitude with Zaid. If Zardari were to make such a statement, Zaid would have strained all his nerves to say how Mr Zardari was right in expecting the other country's intelligence chief visiting his country....and would have been on the denial mode minutes after Zardari backtracked his earlier statement.
Was Bharat Verma reckless really? Just see his level of maturity and his acumen that he showed to steer clear of the leading questions that your so called anchor was subjecting him to. And, compare him with your Zaid of a defence analyst. He speaks like a mouth piece of LET. He even went to the extent of promising to send so called jehadi terrorists into India to avenge Bangla Desh. He, and a defence analyst? Even Nawaz Sharif did not dare to admit this when Kargil had actually happened. Just look at the applause Zaid is receiving in the blogs and forums! Are Pakis so much starved of common sense?

dude, in all 5 policemen died at one spot, in vijay salaskar's jeep, the two 'supercops' were in the jeep. one policeman survived by feigning death when he was injured. he was in the car and he has given eye witness account. so have many other eyewitnesses and mumbai police (not RAW or any political wing but a police force that lost 16 men) have said there is no reason to believe that there is any conspiracy, it was just bad luck that salaskar's jeep came under direct automatic weapon fire from a short distance. there's no evidence or circumstances to suggest that the 'supercops' (WTF is that???) were killed in a conspiracy. yet u keep harping on it a la zaid. its just guesswork to promote a conspiracy theory - some analyses - some 'analysts'!!!
in alavi's case, pls read his letter he gave to a brit reporter two days before he was killed. its published in a brit newspaper. of course u don't know - zaid is still woking on how shivsena killed him in pakistan in a riot!

abt antuley's demand, hello!!! there's already a probe going on, infact two. our president is going around telling everyone that kasab is not from pakistan, urs is.

A probe doesn't matter if you prefer drawing conclusions before the results.
Whatever is the controversy surrounding Antulay, he did not say Kasab was not from Pakistan. He raised doubts about the ATS officers being sent to particular area and not taj or trident. The government would render clarification today. If BJP has asked for his resignation, this is how democracy functions in any country. To make Hassan understand this, you have to start from the first lesson. Poor Pakistanis know nothing about functioning of democracy. They have never been exposed to that.
Also, Sachin, read what Kuldip Singh Chouhan said elsewhere and stop flogging the dead horse. Likes of Ahmed Hassan have been brought up with teachings that Pakistan existed in the 11th century, Mahatma Gandhi was a Hindu fundamentalist, Muslims did not have right to vote, Pakis helped Indian refugees and Indians raped the paki refugees, 1857 war of independence was Muslims v/s English in which Hindus sided with Britishers, Bangla deshi hindus conspired with India to separate East Pak from West etc.
So much for teaching the same kids about virtues of speaking truth and helping neighbours and saying prayers everyday during their early childhood.
